Comfortable single room, quiet and cozy, in a bright and nicely furnished apartment with air conditioning. We are in San Saba, in the heart of Rome: Testaccio, Aventino, and Ostiense neighborhoods are a few steps from home, as well as Colosseo and most of touristic attractions.
Ostiense train station (connection to Fiumicino Airport in 30 mins), metro (Piramide and Circo Massimo, connection to Termini in 10 mins) are within walking distance, as well as restaurants, cafés, bars and shops.
Available for my guests a bright, a quiet and comfortable room with air con (from July 2017), with view on the Aurelian Walls; large single bed and a private bathroom, with shower and bidet.
The apartment is on the second floor of a small building of the Thirties, surrounded by trees. Public transport (metro, buses, train stations) are within walking distance (less 10 min.; a bus stop is on the other side of the street) and most of Rome’s amenities and attractions are easily reachable in a few minutes.
My house is in an excellent spot to visit the Eternal City, perfect for those who want to participate to sporting events or concerts at Circo Massimo and at Caracalla Baths, as well as for those attending to meetings at FAO.
Piazza Venezia can be reached by bus / metro in 15 minutes (line n. 160 bus stop is right in front of my place; metro station less than 10 min far) or walking in 25-30 minutes.
10-15 minutes away on foot: Ostiense Station (direct connection to Fiumicino Airport), metro stations (B line, Piramide and Circo Massimo), buses and trams, the marvelous Aventino District, the FAO offices, the House of Jazz, Eataly, the Baths of Caracalla, restaurants, shops, a small market (fruits, vegetables, etc. .);
15 minutes away on foot: Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Colosseum, Testaccio and Ostiense districts.
I will offer breakfast using mostly fresh and organic products: pastries, fruits, jams and honey with fresh bread, cappuccino or coffee, green or black teas, cheese and tomatoes, etc..
You can have your breakfast in the cozy living room; in spring and summer could take it on the terrace.
Use of the kitchen is not allowed for guests.
I will be happy to suggest to my guests original itineraries into the most authentic Rome, give advice for shopping and places where to eat & drink.
I work at home quite often, and in any case I’m always reachable by phone and email/app.
I will be happy to give you the latest information on what’s happening in the city, to suggest places to visit, restaurants, bars, wine shops, as well as to recommend you to patisseries and ice cream shops, markets, bakeries, etc..
